Our solution

SafeForest® isn't one rigid product — it's a family of AI-based early fire detection and alert systems, each built for a different terrain and a different scenario. Every system is built around the same core — a fire detection camera and an AI processing unit, on site or in the cloud — and adds only what each deployment requires. The result is a modular, scalable solution that grows one camera and one site at a time — from a single private property to hundreds of square kilometres of forest, solar farms or industrial sites.

01 · SAFEFOREST® · the base of the family

UHD video camera — and AI processing on site

Video-based fire detection with optical cameras — visible light and near-infrared — in Ultra High Definition, with edge processing on site enabling more accurate smoke detection at distances beyond 15 km. It is the base of the family — every other member builds on it.

  • UHD PTZ cameras, visible + near-infrared — smaller plumes, greater distances, day and through haze conditions
  • SafeForest® AI-Motor — outdoor edge unit: on-site processing, no bulky cabinets, no additional infrastructure
  • Every alert comes with the coordinates of the fire — computed by a single camera or by triangulation between several
  • Also detects people and vehicles — a security function
SafeForest Duo bispectral PTZ camera — optical and thermal lenses side by side

02 · SAFEFOREST® DUO · optical + thermal

Optical and thermal cameras in one system

Duo offers everything the SafeForest base system does — UHD optical cameras, edge computing, geolocation, people and vehicle detection — plus an infrared thermal camera integrated in the same PTZ camera.

  • Infrared thermal camera with optical zoom, integrated in the same PTZ camera as the UHD optical camera
  • Radiometric hot-spot detection — senses the heat of the ignition itself: a 2 m² fire from 5 km away
  • Greater detection range and precision at night and in low visibility — heat signatures can be detected regardless of lighting conditions

03 · SAFEFOREST® SHIELD · cameras + IoT sensors

Cameras fused with a multimodal IoT sensor network

Shield is what results from integrating a camera-based SafeForest system with a network of multimodal IoT sensors — chemical, radiation and others. It is the first commercially available system in the world with these characteristics, and it extends detection to areas where camera visibility is limited, through sensors installed on the ground.

  • Ground IoT sensors detect the smoke and gases typical of forest fires
  • Significantly fewer false alarms: trained algorithms plus multimodal confirmation
  • Fewer cameras needed in complex orography — the sensors cover the blind zones
  • Plug and play: every SafeForest system is ready to integrate ground IoT sensors (N5Shield®)

04 · SAFEFOREST® HELIOS · HELIOS PV · infrastructure & solar

Fire detection for infrastructure, buildings and solar parks

Helios applies SafeForest video-based detection to industrial facilities, indoor spaces, building rooftops and other areas of interest, with rotating or fixed cameras and algorithms fine-tuned to each site. Helios PV is the version dedicated to large solar parks, with proprietary datasets and an interface designed for managing distributed plants.

  • PTZ or fixed cameras, up to 8 MP — flexible coverage
  • Manual control of the PTZ cameras — the operator decides where to look and how far to zoom
  • A single dashboard, designed for solar parks, to monitor multiple dispersed sites
SafeForest Cloud dashboard: camera view, last alerts, camera status and overall detections of smoke, fire, people and cars

05 · SAFEFOREST® CLOUD · Software-as-a-Service

The same AI, on any IP camera

Leveraging our expertise in fire detection, SafeForest®-Cloud is a Software-as-a-Service platform designed to extend the capabilities of any surveillance IP camera through artificial intelligence running in the cloud. It supports a wide range of applications — from personal use to large-scale deployments for enterprises, critical infrastructure, electric-vehicle charging stations and smart cities.

  • Works with any surveillance IP camera — processing in the cloud, no dedicated hardware
  • Detects smoke, fire, people and vehicles; dashboard with camera status, teams and last alerts
  • Forest, home gardens, car-charging stations, risk areas in facilities, smart cities — anywhere an IP camera is already installed

Detection cameras

Every SafeForest® system is built around a detection camera — and any version can be equipped with any of these three types.

  • SafeForest dual-sensor detection camera — 4K optical and infrared thermal lenses side by side

SafeForest mobile app — alert feed with confidence scores and azimuths

06 · SAFEFOREST®-GUARDIAN · command and control

From the alert to visual confirmation, on one screen

Whichever system you choose, the alert lands in the same place: SafeForest®-Guardian. Seconds after the first smoke, alerts from cameras and IoT sensors appear geolocated on the command-room map — and the operator takes control of the cameras to confirm and monitor the fire. It runs in a web browser or as a Windows application on the local network, on one or several workstations.

  • Geolocated alert, with confidence score and azimuth — from cameras and IoT sensors
  • Manual control of the detection cameras to confirm and monitor the fire
  • Live view, 360° panoramas, satellite map and alert history
  • Integrates security cameras, videowall and weather stations

07 · ANTICIPATE · optional

IMFire — see the spread before it happens

For every ignition, the optional IMFire console simulates fire spread over real terrain, wind and weather — so commanders position crews where the fire will be, not where it was.

  • Physics-based spread simulation on satellite maps
  • Direct local weather station or API integration with national weather station networks (eg. IPMA)
  • Time-of-arrival perimeters for evacuation and planning

Real detections from the field

Detected frames from SafeForest® cameras on live deployments — each one marks the moment the AI detected a fire at the first wisp of smoke, before it had the chance to spread.
